Missouri does not Love Company
Game 1: CUT
Well, the previous game our team had with CUT we got 0atbagged, so needless to say they were deffinatly overlooking us and we were trying to make a statment. Well lets just say we didn't make a statement and CUT played pretty strong, with games to only 11 it is tough to make any sort of comeback. The weather was deffinatly a factor as it was probably just as warm in Duluth, anyways the late warm up as well as the weather contributed to Duluth getting crushed 11-2.... I wasn't incredibly impressed with CUT however we had too many mistakes to really make any sort of statment this game...Duluth now had a bye, and we were set to watch the CUT-Colorado game. It was a pretty good game, that wasn't too bogged down with calls, both CUT and Mamabird moved the disc really really efficently, neither zone was able to really slow down the others offense. 1 mistake cost CUT the game, as Mamabird was able to score their upwind break and take the lead, from there things traded with Colorado never giving up the break.
Game 2: Mamabird
This is the other game of power pools that Duluth had been looking forward to. This was another game against a National semi-finalist. We were able to get a better warm up and thanks to watching the game we had a pretty good idea of what Colorado wanted to do...break the mark, handlers go up line, and isolate their cutters in space, they ran a side stack very similar to the one that Stolaf runs, as well as CUT. Our Junk 3-3-1 zone worked pretty well at slowing them down, but they are a very patient team and were able to work it around pretty easily. I will also say that Mac Taylor is a very good player with sick throws, I was suprised at his height and his ability to step around the mark and stay balanced. We had some pretty big defenive problems this game, we got beat to the force side, and we let their handlers go upline on us alomst at will, those 2 things alone will lose you a game against any team, but even more so against a team that finish tied for 3rd at Nationals last year. Once again due to too many mistakes Duluth loses, 4-10.
Game 3: Washington Univeristy (St. Louis, MO).
Duluth has played these guys before, and things were tight not too contenious but Wash U yelled at each other a lot and we were able to capitalize on their self-destruciton. This game was slightly different, we played pretty swell under the rally cry of they took our bye...which they actually did, they called the TD and requested to get a first round bye so they could stay in St. Louis and sleep....what a bunch of fucking queers, anyways the game is on serve for awhile we get down a few breaks and end up losing 7-10...we played pretty well this game, we had a couple of defensive break downs that led to us losing this game.
Game 4:Wisconsin Whitewater
We have started to develop a pretty friendly rivalry with these guys, they are pretty spirited and deffinatly really talented. I really enjoy playing these guys well due to a number of factors we lost this game 4-11...fatigue had really set in, and we really wanted our 1 piece of pizza.....So we attempt to go and find some food...
Well due to our inability to find a steak and shake most of us ended up at Hardees for dinner, we then proceeded to go back to our hotel most of us intended on going to bed really early, well after a nice soak in the hot tub, most of us got ready for bed. Well a good chunk of the team went to bed, one car went to see quantum of solace. I was all set to watch some college football and go to bed for the night when Izzy comes in and informs me that there are some sexy laydsss, in the pool and that they were setting up for a photo shoot. Well I wanted to check it out real quick so I walk outside to see what is going on. I walked by the pool area and sure enough there were three girls were sitting in the hot tub, while these fat old guys were setting up lights and had cameras. So eventually we just posted up in front of the glass and began to watch the show. Well it starts off with just glamour shots, and eventually myself, Perkna, Dave, Izzy, and Benny, began to talk about what happens if they start to get naked. Well right around this time we ended up seeing a nipple slip, and it was hillarious cause she didn't realize it at first, she blushed and laughed and then went back to work, well after having been teased by this one nipple we thought maybe we would get lucky and see a slip again. Well we didn't have to wait long till the tops just came off all together. Needless to say we were shocked, and awed, and Dave had it in his mind that he had to write a note to the Ladies. Well right about the time I was about to go get him some paper and a pen, 2 of the sexy laydsss came out and asked us if we were enjoying the show. Somehow between the five of us we were able to spit out a coherent response that made them giggle. Well as they came back, Izzy somehow finds it in him, and spits out this sentance. Izzy "Hey laydiessssssss, listen we are from Minnesota, and we play ultimate frisbee, we had a rough day of games and it would really really brighten up our day if you could take a picture with us. It would be our good luck charm and we would pwn noobs all day tomorrow." The Laydiesss quickly agreed and pretty soon we had a pick with laydiesssssssss at which point I went to bed, but Dave had to express his love and gratitude to the girls, he proceded to write his note, and get one of the girls numbers. Jake is terrified in his sleep as he sees the twinkle in my eye that says I am going to molest him in his sleep.
Sunday Morning, more Jimmy Dean sausages, the team actuall manages to get out of the hotel in a timley fasion, and we realize that we have the Kansas Horrizontalls for our pre-quarters game.
Game 5: Horrizontals, this was by far the weirdest warm up I have ever had playing any sport ever...for whatever reason the Kansas team decided that they wanted to split the field hotdog style, which I found to be very bizzare but whatever, we had a nice long warm up, which was a nice change from the day before. We flip and we get set to go. This Kansas team is a very interesting one that is talented but seems to lack the killer instinct as well as team unity that you need to really establish a program as a top tier. Duluth Manages to get rolling early, we go up 3-0quickly before Kansas really knew what hit them, they manage to score their downwind O point to make the score 3-1, we go on to score our O point and the score is 4-1, we trade till we reach 6. Kansas goes on a run, and they are able to bring it to 6-4. we score to take half which is 7-4, We know the cap is probably looming but this does not deter us. We knew we had to bring the intensity way up, unfortunatly Kansas is starting on O and they score fairly quickly to make it 7-5. our 0ffense quickly gets broken upwind and the score is now 7-6. Our offense then proceeds to work the disc downwind and score to make it 8-6, still no need to panic or be concerned, all we have to do is just make sure that we score all of our O points which are now downwind and the game is ours..well du to a colarado players concern I went to go check to see when Cap went on, and by the time I got back it Kansas was working on tying the game and sending it to universe point. Which they did. We put out a stud line with trosvergers and Ryan Perrkarrrna. Duluth recieves the disc going upwind, Jake breaks his mark to the upwind side and gets the Disc to trosvergers on the upwind side. While this is going on, Perkarrrrna is streaking deep, with his defender only one step behind, Trosvig releases a huge forehand huck, well it ends up floating but Perkarrrrrna decides that he is going to make his defender is bitch by putting his nuts in his face a ripping down the game winning goal. Northern Lights is now in the quarter finals against Mamabird...again.
Quarter finals: Mamabird, This game was a lot different from pool play...Mamabird came out with a different intensity and swagger that we had not seen, they were not looking past our team, they were looking to use our match up as a chance to plow us into the ground. While things stayed spirited, I was amazed at this supposed elite team how many people on their team did not know the rules. Maybe they just assume the obeservesr in C-1 are going to take care of that shit for them, but a contested foul does not drop the count 2 or 3 you fucking noobs!!! Anyways, we get destroyed and end up with what ammounts to a half round bye, as we watch Iowa, and CUT finish their game.
Game 7: Texas State, wow where to begin with these mother fuckers, I know that I said that North Texas was the most unspirited team I have ever played... however, Texas State, is the by far the worst spirited team I have ever played against..god were these guys pricks*. Things really quickly broke down with these guys, the breaking point came when there was a discussion about whether a disc was down or up, Trosvig said it was down I said it was down, and their entire team including their sidline said that the disc was up, they called Izzy fucking retarted, as well as a moron...they also did not know the rule that on a disputed call like the disc being down. So finally after a 10+ minute discussion the disc gets sent back, they proceed to score, and things get more and more heated, on our next down wind O point things finally reached a boiling point when Texas State, turned the disc out of bounds, I went to pick up the disc and the next thing I know Spudders, aka the porn star, is being held back by one of my team mates, and #23 from Texas State is being held back by his. Apparently what had happend was the disc was thrown out of bounds, Budick went to clear into the stack, as he was clearing, #23 from Texas State lowered his shoulder right into Spudder's chest. Budick was knocked down as a result of this action, when he got back up he was fairly angry. So he got up and pushed #23, and that is when I turned around and saw what I saw. Both players were sent of the field to calm down wich ended up working, during this time our Mckean went over to their coach, and had a quick discussion, and said that we are not playing a minute after the round is over. After this discussion things clamed down quite a bit, two thumbers were thrown, one by a Texas State player, the other by Trosvergers. We end up losing this 6-10. But this was not a fun game, I hope that people who watched this game did not take this as an accurate portrayal of the sport.
Final game: North Texas, man could this have gone baaaaad, first our game with Texas State, then North Texas. Luckily, this team was pretty worn out and it seemed as though things have changed with these guys, but I could be wrong. We are still playing open lines with our limited numbers, we get them to agree to a game to 10. We quickly score our 0 point and get a break which set us up perefectly to win the game, so long as we continue to score our down wind 0 points, we end up doing this and winning our game 10-8. This was a nice way to end our fall season, we go out with a win over a team we failed to beat all of last spring, however, now our record from the fall is meaningless. Us Northern Teams are indoors, teams are going to condtion, and lift. Teams will look very different in the Spring and so will the Northern Lights. I am very excited about the future of this team, especially this spring. We have a great opportunity ahead of us, we have the talent, we have the drive, now all we have to do is put forth those things to a common goal. I hope to be able find something to post on so that I won't be inactive till MLK, however nothing is for certain at this point.

MLC preview
Duluth has started indoor practices now, and it fucking sucks, I hate the field hose with a passion!! the surfface sucks it is hard on the knees, guys always seem to get hurt, I really hope that everyone stays healthy and that people don't end up getting to banged up, the easiest way for this to happen is if guys continue to lift outside of practice, the added muscle will help to improve their durability. That is all I got for now.

Eau Claire Chill Out
on to questions:
How do you motivate guys that don't seem interested in playing anymore?
How do you coach guys that never seem to listen?
How do you get guys to hustle, and understand that the only way to get open is to run?
Part B of this question, is this part of Kill mode

No Wisconsequences recap
Well due to the seeding we had a tough first round match up against University of Wisconsin Whitewater. We are 2 teams that are fairly equally matched up, and it definitely showed in this game. It was tight throughout, it was physical but spirited, both teams came to an unspoken agreement that it would be physical and we were not going to let calls drag us down or slow down the pace of the game. Early on we trade points and it is back and forth, I believe the score at half was 8-6 in favor of UW Whitewater, we had a couple of unforced errors that they were able to capitalize on. I think we saw a shift in our team mentality, I feel as though our team finally bought into the team philosophy of game to one, and it showed througout this weekend.
Eventually the score was 9-12, games were to 13 win by 2, and this meant we had to go on a 3 point run to even force the issue not just win. We score our O point and storm the field, the score is 10-12, we put out a super serious D line, I believe that UWW just turned it near there end zone and that made it 10-12, it seemed fairly evident from their body language that they were tired and that they just watned this game to be over regardless of the outcome. well we keep the same line out as before, and once again get the D and score, it is now 11-12 this gets us more fired up and UWW is more depressed I even commented to one of their players that it was fun to play in these tight games, and he gave me this look like I was smoking crack, they really did not want to be playing us anymore. I believe at this point we put out one of our freshman in place of Josh because he needed a breather but we still needed one more break to tie it up and keep playing. Well once again the D line delivers and gets the D, we score it is now 12's. At this pint all of us have the mentality that this is our game to lose, we have the all the momentum, and confidence. I believe they score their next O point to make it 12-13 UWW, we got out with chilly O and score to make it 13's, then proceed to break, and make it 14-13, they score to make it 14's it is now universe game to 15. we work it up to midfield Trosvergers gets the disc, sees creature deep and lets it rip, Creature runs it down GG nubs, Duluth wins in a close one 15-14 over UWW. This was an intense game and UWW is still a great team they are going to be a team to watch out for in the spring.
UNI Well this game should not have been as close as it was, we played down to there level and I think were still thinking about the Whitewater game, we keep lines pretty open for this game as well which I think may have contributed to a let down. Either way we end up beating this team 13-10 I believe and are 1 win away from winning our pool and getting our shot at one of the power pool teams
Illinois B. We open lines completely for this game and there was no let down, everyone played extremely well, I was in for the last 3 or 4 points this game and played well, it was D town the whole way as we get the 0atbag and beat them 13-0 I threw the game winner to Ryan Pekarna who got the D and busted deep right away, he took 2 defenders with him but I knew he had both them both beat, I did not have a mark so i picked up the disc and let it rip Deep, perfect put to the back of the end zone, Ryan runs it down, game over, Duluth now gets to play Michigan, one of the "C1" teams. We knew we couldn't come into this game intimidated, we knew we deserved to be in power pool, we knew we deserved to play Michigan and they were by no means out of our league and that this was our shot to show the ultimate world what Duluth was all about.
Michigan
Man was this a fun game, intense and close the entire way, and almost an exact replica of the Whitewater game. Our studs came into this game really well rested as they did not have to play at all the last game unless they just wanted to stay loose and not get too tight. They knew they were going to have to play a lot this game. The game starts with them breaking us right away, they seemed cocky and I overheard one of them say I only want play offense once and that is out of half when they pull to us. We didn't let this break fluster us and we scored our O point, they scored their O point and got another break, the score is 3-1 at this point we are still calm we know this game is not out of reach and that we need to value the disc and tighten up a little bit on D. We score our O point, and proceed to get a break; the score is now tied at 3 with Duluth still down a break. We keep playing intense physical D they are doing the same, they manage to go on a little mini-run to take half 7-5. At half we remind ourselves of the situation that we were in against Whitewater and how this is the exact same and how all we have to do is keep playing hard and things were going to work out we felt as though it was our game to lose. eventually we end up in the same position as before and the score is 10-12, game to 13, Jake calls a time out so the captains can talk, I am told to talk to the team and get them fired up, I don't remember what I said but I once again reminded them of the Whitewater game, I told them that sidelines need to step it up one more notch and really help our studs that are out there dying, the captains walk back tell us that we are going to try and make a run and puts out a stud O line. We score our O point fairly easily and now have to put out a sick D line to stop game point #2 for Magnum. We get the D, put it Deep it gets turned, we get the D again this time we deliver, and charge the field, score is tied at 12, Magnum is in shock they have no idea who we are or where we came from. Michigan calls a time out at this point we are all stoked but we know we have to once again keep the energy up, around this Time a small crowd has gathered as people are a little confused as to why Michigan is still playing this game, we got some help from the Whitewater boys (thanks guys) with our cheers. We score a break to make it 13-12, and we trade to 14's, prior to this point the captains had agreed to make the game hard at 15 meaning this was now once again universe point only this time we were pulling, but we still felt as though it was our game to lose. We manage to get the turn, Jeff recognizing that both Creature and Josh are deep in the end zone proceeds to rip it, josh extends his arms pulls it down game over 15-14 Duluth pulls the upset and beats Michigan in a barn burner. at this point we are going fucking nuts this was by far the biggest win we have ever had at this point in Duluth ultimate, it also meant that we can finish no worse than 12th in the tournament, the best Michigan can hope for is 13. It was a great end of the day I am so proud of everyone I still can't really believe that we pulled off 2 Universe point victories!
Saturday night some of us went to eat at the Brewhaus, it was a good meal with great beer, (they have an amazing Oktoberfest Beer.) We end up going back to the hotel, where most of us stay and chill and hang out and try to take in our win over Michigan, most of us are in bed a pretty decent time. Some people did end up making it to the party, apparently it sucked, but that doesn't really matter at a tourney like this.
Sunday: we open up with North Park, we have a little bit of a history with this team, and things can sometimes get heated between our two teams but this game was fairly clean, we didn't seem to have quite the same energy as on Saturday, and our sidelines were losing some intensity, partly due to the fact that I lost my voice, some of the Freshman were also not paying attention and I tweaked on them, however, they need to learn to pay attention to our game even if they are not playing and not play with a ball of FUCKING BREAD!! we end up losing this game 9-13 for a number of reasons sidelines being one of them, I think we also were still thinking about the win over Michigan a little too much and were still jerking off to that thought, hopefully we have learned our lesson to forget the big wins as well as the bad losses and focus on the the game at hand.
We go on to lose our next 2 games, we open up lines and get experience for the younger players on the team, I am glad we did this cause it is important that we have depth later on in the season. On a whole the tournament was a big success, Cultimate definitely knows how to run an a great tourney, plenty of water, and other amenities, although I was disappointed that they ran out of discs by the end of Sunday, my fault for not buying one sooner. Big ups to Yossi K. for making the Hodags, he definitely tore it up in the finals, I am excited to see what he will do with that team. The next tourney for Duluth is this weekend in Eau Claire Wisconsin, we are going as an A and B team, teams have not yet been announced, but both teams should be very competitive, everyone is going to get a lot of playing time which is good, I am excited to see how we do, (both teams), that’s all for now.

No Wisconsequences
As far as seedings and pools go I really feel as though the Hodags/Cultimate got at least our pool a little messed up, I do not understand how in the world St. Olaf got into power pools when both Whitewater, and ourselves qualified and tied for 5th at regions, this is something that I think will become quite clear by the end of the tournament, I seriously doubt Olaf's capability of holding seed, above both Whitewater and ourselves but I hope that our team can use this as motivation to perform well and manage to break our seed by quite a bit. I know we are capable of this and I am confident that like at all the other tournaments we are going to rise to the occasion, our experience should be able to carry us through this tournament. One last note on pools we have Whitewater as the 1 seed Iowa Y as the 2 seed, UMD as the 3 seed, and Michigan State B as the 4 seed, if we win our pool then we would play the 2 seed from the B pool which will probably be Illinois. I do not want to get ahead of myself because we need to take care of our pool first. One game at a time, one point at a time. That is all for now

Exit 69 recap
We took a bus down to Northfield (props to Mckean for driving.) On the way down there was a lot of debaucherous fun. myself and several others consumed some beersss, others decided that they might indulge in an herbal remedy in preperation for the weekend. The ladies team was staying with the Durga captain (St. Olaf's womens team), which meant we had to drop them off before we were able to get to our camp site. By the time we reach our campsite it is dark out and we have to set up tents..not something that is fun to do in the dark but better than sleeping outside. All the guys on the team are pretty tired by the time we get our tents set up and are happy to crawl into our sleeping bags as we all know we have an early morning ahead of us.
Saturday:
Cold morning I was really glad I slept in my under armour Jake drops off the men's team at a gas station so we can get what we need for the tournament (red bull, 5 hour energy, energy/ protiend bars etc...) , and he picks up the women's team. The Y team got to our fields a little later than I would have liked for warm ups but it ended up being ok as I don't think it affected our team significantly and we still preformed well and played hard. We ran Jam as a warm up and prepared for our first game of the fall '08 season.
Game 1: GOP:
now, while UMD has some history with this team this is a new year and we are hoping to not let things get out of control with these guys as they are for the most part a pretty laid back group of guys, I can't remember who started on O or D this game, or any big highlights from this game with the exception of plays that I made. So here is a very short list of things that I actually remember. 1: second or 3rd point of the game I get a hand block on an around break. 2: this is the last thing I really remember and that was I had 2 assists this game, although I cannot remember to whom. We end up losing this game 15-12 in a pretty close battle especially considering our lines were open the entire way through.
Game 2: Northwestern NUT
Coming into this game I knew nothing about this team other than the fact that they came from the great lakes region. game plan is the same in this game as it was in the last, keep lines open, get the young guys PT, don't be intimidated, and make smart decisions. I really liked our intsensity for 90% of this game, we played hard, we take half on them 8-6, most of our returners played well, I was basically breaking my mark at will. we have minor lapses in our energy wich cost us the game we lost this game 15-12 as well. This was the first time we got the "ok" to spike the disc. not on someone but to use it as a tool to fire up your team and get people jacked up to make a play, so both teams spiked on eachother and there was nothing particularly malicious about it, but it was an odd thing for me to handle.
Game 3: Iowa Gold:
Many of us returners sort of looked at this game like a revenge game trying to avenge our season ending loss to IHUC, however due to a number of factors, conditioning being a big one we end up getting blown out of this game. This was one of the first 4 man zones I got to handle in this season and I was happy to. I will say this, if Iowa does not fix the holes in their cup our handlers our going to continue to break it, I was even able to throw my first hammer over the top of their cup, it was even easier to break their marks, both through the cup, as well as around it.
because we finished 4th in our pool we were given a by into the chumpionship quaterfinals and did not play another game saturday, I was a little frustrated by this because it meant that our freshman would get 1 less game, but it did give us a chance to watch our X team play a coed team that was very disorganized and they were able to role them, I was able to start drinking some PBR courtosey of Brett. We ended up eating at Perkins, and getting some Beer, as well as various other liquor. Some of the Sexy Laydsss ended up coming back to the camp sight with guys team and we got a little crunk, and celebrated the beginning of what is going to be a great season. Well apparently we were being too loud and the park ranger came over and told us that it is unlawful to consume alcholic bevrages in a state park, it was pretty comical but we did as we were told and finished our drinks and most of us went to bed.
Sunday:
We actually got ot sleep in, as a reslut thoug we ended up being incredibly late to the fields and had very limited time to warm up, thought this might hurt us but luckily both the X and Y team had games where they would be able to role teams right out of the gate so this luckily was a non issue
Game 1 sunday : St. Thomas
This is a very different team from a year ao, they don't really party, no Izzt, but Bubbles and Frogger are both still around. always a fun group of guys, suprisingly things get a little heated in this game but Y cruises to a victory. highlight of this game for me is a 70 yard huck from me to Josh for a goal. on the downside I played pretty shitty defense, and got involved in on field discussions when I wasn't on the feild, this is something I need to work to correct as it is 1 unspirited and 2 not helpful to the team. all of our rookies played well and it was a nice to finally get a win under our belts.
Game 2 sunday: X Vs Y
no one took this game seriously we all just ran around and looked like a bunch of stoned hippies no real highlights, we ended up just forming 1 team after this so all of our rookies could continue to get play time and we would be able to show them what disciplined ultimate looked like
Game 3 Sunday: Z vs St. Olaf Y (it might have been X who cares).
pretty tight game throughoutI get my defensive discipline back and up playing really quite well in this game, I am able to break a ton of my marks and played pretty tight D. We throw our junk 3-3-1 zone where 3 people sprint down on the handlers, and there is a 3 man wall behind it , this forces olaf to turn this disc quite often and we respond by scoring breaks. we are done at half I believe and were down 9-11. I believe score our O point to make it 10-11 and I get sent out to run to play D, I remember that Jay and Lt were also out there as well as Peter. we end up getting the turn at about midfield worked it up to about 25 yards outside the endzone, and we end up throwing a turn. we transition really well into our junk zone and they turn it right on their goal line. I pcik up the disc with a straight upish mark, and see LT cutting to the forehand side, I get real low and fire a low flick that LT lays out for and catches we are tied at 11's. the only other highlight I remember of myself was scoring to make it 13-11 I believe with a great throw from Stark, we end up winning the game 15-11 or 15-12, winners of the chumpionship bracket. It was a great weekend, I had a ton of fun, I was so impressed with a lot of our rookies, I can't wait to form up our whole squad for no wisonsequences.

Exit 69 preview
The pool for the mY team goes 1) Northwestern, 2) Iowa Gold, 3) GOP, and 4) Northern Lights Y. I am personally really excited for the GOP game becuase I know that if we beat them with this team there is no way in hell they will be able to fuck with our full team. The Iowa and Northwestern games I really don't know what to expect going into them, I hope that they keep the calls to a minumum and are working in their younger guys as well but I won't hold it against them if they are trying to roll teams. but they better be ready for a tough game against us because while our younger guys may lack experience they make up for in tenacity, and effort.
I hope to have a post on the tournament results from mY team as well as how the party went and how our freshman handle themselves on and off the field. It should be a great time, with lots of "male-bonding"

Exit 69/ College season preview
NL's are not looking so much for results as this tournament as we are trying to make it an opportunity for everyone to learn and get used to one and other. this will be extremely benificial to me as I have had virtually no time what so ever to develop chemistry and timing with the new guys, as well as just to hang out with some of them and get to know them better even if they are from EP...
I am also looking forward to getting an early look at some of the competition not only from our region but from our section as well, It looks as if MN is going to be an extremly difficult team to beat especially with the edition of Tim Pearce to their roster, there was a reason why he was on the hodags and I am sure Grey Duck will see the benifit of his presence immeadiatly. CUT obiviously looks tough after only graduating 2 players, and I know this is getting redundant in my blog but despite not having seen them they are my favorite to win nationals this year, and I am not the first on my team to share that thought. St. Olaf will always cause problems for several teams in the section however, I can not see them making a lot of noise in the region, and yes their absence from sections last year was a fluke. Do not expect for this team to shit the bed on sunday again even if they don't win their pool. Winona having graduated a lot of key players could be one of the sleeper teams in the section. They are always one of the more atheltic teams and they have huge alumni support due in large part to how long they have been around.
Other teams in the Central region that I think are poised to have big seasons are obviously the Hodags, despite graduating a ton of studs this team will be in better shape then all of the other teams in the nation, they have a desire to outwork every single team, and use that as their biggest weapon, this is no secret by any means. Iowa, should be a team for peopel to watch out for with a strong showing at regions last year don't be surprised if they are battling for that spot in the game to go. and lastly but surely not least Luther, they always seem to be in the thick of things and due to my limited knowledge of their team that is about as much as I can comment on their team. peace out

Club Sections
On a personal note due to an ankle injury I was unable to play it has been a frustraiting club season as I was only healthy for 1 tournament. I am really hoping this does not transfer over into the college season, as I really want to be healthy and in the best shape I can possibly be. this is becoming increasingly more difficult as I continue to try to rehab my shoulder and now my ankle. hopefully this 2 week break before exit 69 will give me enough time to get healthy otherwise I will be on the sidelines trying to coach up the young guys.

update
Classes have gotten off to the usual fast pace that they seem to, there never seems to be enough time to get everything done that needs to get done. the next tournament that I will hopefully be able to post on in a reasonable manner should be club sections, sept 20th in Maple Plain, if you are in the area feel free to come and check it out should be a pretty intense tournament as teams will be playing for their season while the college guys that are there will be looking to stay healthy and may hold some things back, I hope that is not the case but self preservation and team loyalty can sometimes get jumbled. the other interesting thing should be which dingwop team shows up to section's this past weekend they came in seeded 36th and finished tied for 23rd which is a huge jump. Hopefully the dingwop that showed up this past weekend will also show up at sections and exceed some expectations.

Cooler
The game against PBR should be very interesting due to the fact that there are two northern lights players on this team, not to mention the fact that this team is made up of some former stud college players it is our first game and if we do not come out focused we will find ourselves down 4 or 5-0 very fast. my hope for this game is that we keep it close and somewhat competive and use it as a building game for the rest of the tournament.
Climax should be an interesting game I think this should be one of the best games of pool play, they have a lot of young guys mixed in with some crafty veterans much like Dingwop...they are probably a little deeper than us and have better orginization however they should not take us lightly as I think we are very evenly matched.
I could not even tell you the first thing about Goose egg, they are the 4 seed, I know they shouldn't be taken lightly but I am getting bored writing this now, expect a full write up from the tournament on tuesday.

Worst week of work
Well tuesday came and we started off the day by stripping and waxing the second floor corridor of AB anderson. not too bad thought I would be able to crusie throguh the day...WRONG, I ended up working 4 hours of overtime in the wieghtroom disinfecting all of the weights and moving them, needless to say I was exhausted and really wanted a beer, too bad I had to work so fucking late!
Wednesday all of the student workers ended up having to move all of the dumbells back onto the racks, that also sucked, but thankfully I was able to cruise through this day and went out to the red star and had too many amaretto sours. It was nice to get drunk but it was an expensive night. I think I hit on some russian chicks not possitive, it was kind of crazy. oh did I mention that I shotgunned 4 beers before I went to the redstar?? yeah so I was deffinatley on my way to being frod'd drunk. That is a dangerous place for me to be cause I am no longer going to remember the entire night, and I usually say or do something I look back on later and say that was stupid> and chances are if I do go home with someone it is a girl that I will be ridiculed shamelessley for...there are several of those that my team would be more than happy to talk about...but I won't!

MUDI
Saturday morning was decent Stark, and myself are able to get up and get to the fields on time, Dingwop has a very long warm up and the team we are supposed to be playing doesn't show up until 2 minutes before game time. Which is all right we think we should just be able to roll these guys and cruise to our next game....boy were we wrong.
Rigor Mortis V. Duluth:
Well Like I said they showed up 2 minutes before game time with no real warm up or anything like that. early on the game is close but thanks to drops on our part, as well as our lack of focus they are able to stomp us 7-15, just not a pretty or clean game. It was clear that this team had some tallent, but they were not that amazing and we should have beaten them. well since we had gotten beaten pretty quickly we had 45 minutes till the next round started, this game was against TBA, long time friendly rivals of the dingers.
TBA V. Duluth:
This game was a lot cleaner than our last thank god. we jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, and TBA is able to get those back and tie it up. it is back and forth all game long, I cut this entire game, and cut really well, none of their guys that matched up with me as able to keep up with me on an in cut which was a nice feeling. this game goes to universe if I remember correctly, at the very least it was double game point Dingwop16- TBA 14? something like that. because the rounds were so long we had a half an hour before we had to play the crafty canadians from Winnepeg.
Always a tough game they all looked athletic, with no one really standing out, they move the disc efficently and capitalize well on turnovers.
General Strike V. Dingwop
Well now that we had finally gotten car legs out, had stopped mind-fucking each other and gotten focused we finally played well. Our defense this entire game was solid we were in their hip pocket from start to finish, our sidelines were the best they were going to be all tournament long. even though we lost this game this was probably the best game we played all tournament. everyone was fuckesed and that led to a fairly close game, Dingwop loses 11-15.
Now the real fun starts, time for the party at the fields... well D love informs the team that he has a bottle of tequila, I start in on a nice cold PBR, and there are free kegs tapped and waiting. Well as soon as I get my first beer I am informed that there is a showcase game athat I was recruited to be in it...now this confused me because I am by no means a great player but hey, I accepted the invite, and learned that it would the minorities vs. the gingers. Becky tries to play with the minority team as he claims that he is the only person from the beckified nation...he quickly gets shot down.... Well it was a very interesting time a lot of fun and a beer point later the game ending, I finally got a chance to meet some of the hodags that w playing on Sub Zero, and I have to say that Will Locke, and Brandon Malechek are really nice guys off of the field. well as ridiculous as the show case game was I still needed to get drunk SO as I am coming off of the field I run into D love who informs me that I have to do a shot of Tequila as I am a dingwop rookie and I needed to be broken in, well after the shot I had to get the taste of tequila out, I do this by drinking another bee, and another beer, and a whole lot to follow that another shot of tequila sounds like a great idea. the second shot went down really well, a few more beers later and stark was ready to go get some food. We stop at a Mcdonalds and everything on the menu looks pretty good. Went back to his sisters place still very drunk, hopefully I didn't embaress him too much, we passed out and got ready for sunday.
Sunday
On our way to the fields Stark and I decided to stop at a super target to get some food. As we are checking out the girl in the check out line was semi-flirting with me, suprisingly enough she knew what ultimate frisbee was and that seemed to spark her intrest but Stark and I had to dip out so we could start to warm up for our first game
well Dingwop apparently won the party which meant that people were not on time sunday morning. Dingwop had Surly Cynics first which is a team made up of a group of guys that are too old to play for Surly, as a result we took them lightly and and found ourselves down 5-7 at half...then one of the most interesting things happened...one of he million dollar houses caught on fire..and not just a little bit this mother fucker burned and burned and burned....the fire department was able to put water on it for about 10min after they had arrived because there was no fire hydrant near by which meant that they had to truck in water, the house was a complete loss, myself and a bunch of other frisbee players knocked on doors and windows to make sure that no one was inside the house which luckily no one was. but play was suspended until the fire department told us that it was ok to play again. The Sulry cynics game resumed and because of that break and some misinformation some of their team had left and we were able to come back and win on universe point.after this we have bye and watched the madison, Double negative ( Sub Zero's D line) game. that was pretty intense as was the Blerge XMN game, both games went to universe point with Double Negative winning their game, and XMN winning theirs, Dingwop went on to play XMN for 9th place.
XMN V. Dingwop
A good game all around we trade points early and it is very apparent that we are going to have some battles this season. This ends up being a more exciting game than the finals so we get a little bit of a crowd which was nice it helped both teams play a little bit better I think. Eventually the game gets close to cap and we are still trading points until I belive 11's or 10's at which Point XMN is able to break us twice and is able to cruise to the victory. on a whole a good showing for the dingwop crew we bonded were able to come together and I think get a much better sense of what everyones role is going to be....this is something that was somewhat unclear coming into this weekend. the party was bomb and it was a relaxing weekend

21st Birthday
Let me just say turning 21 is the best birthday to date, minus the ammount of puking I did... I would like to say that while I may not remember a solid 2 hours of my birthday, it was still Bomb as hell. The night started off with some dinner with my parents and a couple of good beers, and IPA and an Oatmeal Stout. from there I wandered on down to Sir Ben's for some drinks with the team...welllll I walk in and luckily only LT and his Hoppe are there so I have some time to digest my food. eventually enough people walk in and I have drinks starting to pile up. my first shot was a shot of Jamison, and it was down hill from there, there was an Irish car bomb in there, and Vodka red bull, Jag bomb, Sambuca, Chocalate Cake, some Crown, Gin and Tonic, a Beer, and the worst thing of all and what in my opinion why I don't remember my 21st is the mine field....worst thing ever invented...FUCK YOU Tequila!! after the mine field my memory is hazy at best, luckily mc Love had my back and made sure I had 5 minutes in between my shots, that was the good news. The bad news I had lett slip out that I hate Whiskey, so what does everyone do, they buy me shots of whiskey...I don't remember how many shots of whiskey I actually did but it was enough that my stomach decided it had had enough and needed to empty out the evilness that is whiskey... well in my drunken state, I may have missed puking in the toliet, now it wasn't intentialo much as I saw the floor was wet and didn't want to get my pants wet...seems reasonable I think, so I just bent over and just heaved vicinity of the toliet...good enough right, hey it's my b-day, and I will do whatever the FUCK I WANT!!! well that was basiclly the end of my drinking, the beckified nation stuck out the night with me and made me eat crackers "como una tortugita" (like a baby turtle for all of you non spanish speakers.) However I did make it to my 9AM class the next morning and I was still drunk, but hey, I had a bet to win....as far as summer ultimate plans go I will be playing DINGWOP, or whatever the name changes to but it will be ultimate based out of Duluth and I am fucking pumped

Great day absolutely perfect, The Northern Lights were excited to get things rolling early as they had been denied their chance a week earlier. The team minus Jake, was at the fields warming up by at as planned. We opened up with St. Thomas B, this was a good game for us as it gave us a chance to build up our confidence, get our legs warm, and get our heads into the game. This game was never in doubt we, played fun spirited ultimate with this team and shut them out 15-0. all in all it was a good game, our starters got a good warm up in, and our second string players were able to get a lot of play time. Our second game was against Carlton "B" I put the B in quotes because it is in a lot of ways a rag tag group of players that doesn't even go to tournaments, we came out strong against these guys and were up 10-2, things got a little heated when they double spiked it on us, then Smurgz spiked it on one of their players, he may or may not have been on the ground when he spiked it...not thaaaat important, anyways we keep rolling and shut them out from that point on and looked forward to taking it to St. Olaf and taking it to them. Because both teams had finished their first 2 rounds early we had a lot of time before the start of our next game. That being said the captains managed to round up our players and got us warmed up and ready for what would be the toughest game we had to that point.
St. Olaf:
We started on D with them going up wind. Olaf moves the disc very efficently and scores very easily. The O line goes in and does the very same thing disc is moved efficiently no turns D-town scores 1-1. Our d-line goes in and is determined to get the break. After some hard D we are able to get the break going down wind and score quickly, score is now 2-1 we get ready to complete the break and get the easy downwind break. The D force a turn quickly and the score is now 3-1 Duluth, the sidelines are in it, the focus is in everyones eys clearly this is going to be a game for Duluth to lose and not a game for Olaf to win. Next D point, Duluth gets the D and another break, Olaf burns a time out to try and maintain their composure and so that the game does not get to far out of their reach. Olaf is able to find their composure and attmepts to reassert their authoirty as the 1 seed, they go on a small run and get all but one of the breaks back, it is at this time that the lights call a time out and tell everyone to calm down, but bring the sideline intensity back. points get traded back and forth up until half, D-town still in the lead and Olaf still trying t figure out where the fuck we came from. we put out a sick line coming out of half and score right away, we never look bac at this point. There are some longer points and the game does get capped, but Duluth wins 13-10. huge shock to everone in the section but Duluth. D-town wins the pool and now has a much easier quarterfinals matchup against archrival GOP.
GOP:
well as has happened so many times before things get heated pretty early, it isn't that they have that poor of spirit it is that we see these guys at every fucking tournament it seems like, and it would be nice to play someone else, that being said there was no way in hell we were going to give this game up. D-town was on a mission, we had to defend R-barr, and Duluth, we had hyped ourselves upnow it was time to delivar, we win this game we are in the semi-finals, our main goal for the entire year. well after our win over Olaf GOP seems like a walk in the park, we get rolling early things get heated, one guy wantes all to huddle up and talk about our feelings or some shit like that, Mckean was not about to do that and keep on rolling this game was never even close. GOP know's that cannot play with us, just not gonna happen, it has been well over a year now since this has happened they want to beat us but we want it more. well Duluth goes 4-0 on the day and finds itself with a semi's matchup with grey duck, we are 1 win away from clinching a spot at regions.
Sunday:
we got smoked by Grey duck not even close. we came out just play stupidly not too focused too many drops early on to recover, we end up loosing this game because of ourselves 15-6. we start having fun at the end of that game and get ready for what we think will be a rematch with Olaf, not exactly what we wanted, but to our surprise the Johnnies BAM pulls the upset and BEATS olaf.
St, Johns, the Johnnies possibly one of my favorite teams to play, spirited bunch of guys who play hard, they are a good team, that graduated a lot of key players, that being said we have them mind fucked and they are never able to get their focus going and we steam role them they don't know what to do, they just know they don't want to play us again Duluth wins 15-7, the game winning goal was caught by yours truly.
Duluth v. Winona
well we haven't in our heads that we can take the rest of the tourney off we are into regionals worst we can do is 5th, and do not give our best effort against Winona. we turn it over too many times to recover, and are unable to get things going we open up the lines and us second stringers get a chance to try and step up, not to take the focus off the team but, I put up one of the best hucks of my life in this game, i get the disc on a strike cut, I have no mark, Claytonhas his guy beat by 10 yards, I just fire a perfect flick to the back corner of the endzone , and Clayton pulls it down....Just sick, this gets the team pretty fired up. Next point we get the D, I attempt to jack another one deep, but I didn't get the cut I wanted right away and end up forcing up some swill that got D'd, we end up loosing this game 15-3....not our most shining moment but it happens we would now be "playing" St. Johns for the 4th place game
Duluth v. St Johns round 2
St johns didn't want to play us again, we decided it would be better for our starters not to play this game however the rules being what they are we had to play in some form so we played 15 points. no score was recorded, I had 1 more big huck to mc love it was amazing, and I also sky'd a player which was a first for me I think. we finished 4th which was amazing we got seeded 8th going into regions.

Well I turn 21 this year and could not be happier about that fact. I no longer have to worry about under age consumption tickets and the police ruining my buzz (jk). Now I will probably not go to wild on my birthday cause it is a tuesday, and I do have a 9AM class I have to make it to. However, if I know the fisbee team like I do, they will be feeding me drink all night, so hopefully I pass out by 10 PM and can get up in time for that class . If that doesn't happen it's not the end of the world. Well thats all I got for now.

Spring Break '08 part VI
Quarterfinals Duluth V. Rhode Island
These guys did really warm up before our game, they were not loose and had not really stretched so we tried to get things going right away. we score our O point and get ready to D up, they huck it score. our second O point, Trosverges hucks it to Schaaaaaaak and he skyed em up and shut em down. well we put out a sick D line, Becky got the D, but some idiot from Rhode Island said it was foul, horrible call, they end up working the disc up and scoring. We put our O-face on. with the strong downwind deep huck to creature d-town is up 3-2. D line goes out again. this time Becky and the D line would not be denied (BECKY SMASH). they get the 'D and start to work it up, and and up getting the break. it was a huge point for us as it gave us a ton of momentum. However, as our captain pointed out this upwind means nothing if we can't also respond right away with a downwind break. we end up break them almost immeadiatly. and they burn a time out. at this point our whole team is pretty excited and realizes that semi's apperance is within our grasp. we end up trading O points to finish out half.
I know I am not the first one on our team to say this but, if all of our games were played to half we would havea ridiculous record right now.
well during half time we all get very complacent and a little lathargic, and really started to look past Rhode Island well they ended up getting a boost on their sidelines from their ladies, who were not so sexy...and with my voice being gone our sidelines started to fall although they were still really good, we started to mind fuck ourselves, we give up 3 breaks in a row, the score is tied, it gets to universe we work it up wind get to about midfield, and a throw with no spin is released and just drops straight to the ground...well Rhode Island punts it, we turn it, they punt it, we turn it again, they punt it and pull down the swill and once again Northern Lights has been eliminated in the quarter finals. we probably could have found another game to play after this but a lot of us were too dejected to play. We went on to start drinking some beers brah and support our sexy laydssss who were now in the semi-finals. I can't remember who they played all I know is that they won. they then played the sexy laydssss from USC in the finals and won. It was at this point that finally the decision was made to get kegs fro tonight, so long as all of the money was fronted to creature. we stayed and watched the finals as we saw St. Johns play and lose on universe point to Marquette. Some people on the team at this point were very intoxicated, we decided that it was time for both the ladies team and mens team to eat dinner togeather at a nicer restraunt. It was a good time as Mckean got drunker, he deffinatley drown his sorrows in some crown. After dinner we went back the camp site and wated for the keg to show up. well after a cups of PBR one thing leads to another and Mckean ends up naked. now it was his goal to get at least one of the ladies naked, however, in his drunken state he used some flawed logic and was unable to do so, we were only able to get one girl down to her panties and completly topless not horrible but most of the ladies were too timid and some of the guys were too eager to get naked and they were sober when they did it as well. it was kind of crazy I went and peed on the fort (FUCK YOU CONFEDERACY!!) well as this went on more beers were consumed me and brett were the last 2 up appranetly trying to finish off the keg. I passed out about a foot and a half from keg on a sleeping pad and pillow. I was only half way through living up to my promise of getting retarted drunk. It was an ok finish to the night knowing now that we should have won that tournament. Friday was also a good day and there will be a post on that soon.

Spring Break part 5
What a great fucking feeling waking up in the morning knowing that you were the 1 seed in your power pool and that no one was about to fuck with you! most of us opted to skip the breakfast and go straight to the fields and start the carnage early.
First game: Duluth V. St. Thomas
Always a fun and spirited game against these guys. well it was Becky's sincere wish that we not lose to this team as they were his former teammates. Well we promised that we would not lose to Purple Reign. We went in full throtle and began to establish our Northwoods section dominance for the day. this game was never close, howver it was by far the funnest game we played during break, I have nothing but love for those guys and would party with them anytime. Becky almost got into a fight with his old team just cause some times he has a bit of a temper, luckily it was quickly resolved and all was well. this was one of the few games we finished the way we should have and that was strong with out a doubt in the other teams mind that they will ever beat us.
Second Game: SUNY G, or something like that, these guys were pretty talented. they had one stud cutter who also plated deep and was able to pull down a lot of swillthey were able to run with us the first few points until we stopped playing their deep game and just worked it around their zone. apparently these guy did not get the memo that we were here to win this tournament and roll some teams. we proceeded to come out a lot stronger in the second half as we realized that the sooner we wraped up this game we get to play another team from our section, now while it does suck to travel all the way from MN to GA only to play a team from 2 hours away the only thing that will make it worth your while is by completly destroying this team. that aside we finished up this game in a very spirited fashion.
We had to move fields again, this game would be for the pool, now we have never had a lot of luck against the Johnnies who in ultimate are known as Bad Ass Monk(BAM) but this is the year of Northern lights and no team in this section is about to fuck with us. with that being said the wind had picked up for this game and the carnage was about to begin.
SJUUUUUUUUUU V. Northern Lights: We start off with an upwind O and work it in pretty easily. put out a stud D line who falls just short of the d. We score our O again fairly easily and now it was on, the D line goes back out and now is determined to get teh D and the break, unfortunatley SJUUUU was able to work it through our zone but it was becoming pretty clear that it was not going to be easy to score on us. as we worked our O again and once again easily scored our D line decided that they had had enough of these queers scoring on them so they dug their heels in and get the break, and quickly responded with anotherone which is what we had done all week long. with our sidelines in a frenzy and BAM not sure of what had just happenedd the burned a T.O. well Jos was not satisfied and asked us to dig a little deaper pull our our nuts and slap them in the face. this is just what we did, we put out another sick D-line although they got scored on it was not easy and BAM quickly realized that they had lost this game as the breaks were already given up and we were not about to give them back. with the cap approaching and the D-town crew still up a few breaks. the horn sounds D-town Scores and that is pool # 2 won on the week it would be on to the quarterfinals and some more d-town shut downs, more frosty O's more icy D's! Fucking Right Northern Lights.
A group of us decided to hit up the beach BOOOIY. well at first some of us were pretty hesitatnt to get into that water but then we cleaned the sand out of our vaginas stopped actin like a bunch of queers and took on some 15 ft waves. the only thing missing on this little adventure was some Sexy laydssss. Well we end up spoting a couple of them on the beach. well we were able to convince one of them to get into the water with us, which is shocking as there wer about 8 of us guys and only 2 guys. well the other one refused until she met our Porn Star, the spudders, buddick, Nick Budnik, he says maybe 7 or 8 words to her and her clothes start coming off and she is getting into the water with us. now I still have no clue what he said to her but DAMN he works fast. after we continue to take on the waves with some sexy laydssss some fuck from Colorado State comes over bein a queer and trying to cock block us well luckily the ladies didn't fall for it and hung out with us instead. The pornstar was able to pull a number, but it was prolly a fake number but hey that's all right we were hungry and it was time to get our grub on
We get to the crab shack, this is the meal I had been waiting for all year some nice shrimp, sausage, potatoes all boiled all delcious, that and some sweet tea, shit was the bomb. after we got nice and full half the group went back to the campsite to sleep, the rest decided to party it up at tybee with some sexy Laydsss, I being tired opted to go and balck out in a tent, and by black out I mean shower drink a 40 as well as a couple pbr's then black out in a tent, it rained a little bit but it was not big deal the morning would be coming soon, and so would quarterfinals.

Spring break '08 part IV
After having sobered up through out the night the team was finally ready to do what it had set out to do from the set of spring break, it was now time to put up or shut up. As the caravan of cars got rolling they rolled by the defeated St. Johns Rugby team who was forced to give up their territory in the camp site and begin their trek back to the woods of collegville.
After a quick McDonald's breakfast the team was energized and ready to go. arriving at the fields teams quickly realized that the d-town they had seen the day before that was drunk on the sidelines was not the one they were about to see today! Today would be a day of domination and fun.
Game 1: Duluth V. Spurberry PD
this was a pick up team that the TD played on, a group of talented ultimate players however, their lack of team unity is what we were able to capitalize on. NL gets jacked up pretty quickly comes out strong and hard from some domination, we quickly get up a few breaks and Spurberry takes an early time out. well like we had done the previous weekend we let this team climb back into the game, but we dug our heals in and would not be denied the victory this game goes to cap, D-town wins 11-8 I believe. good start, this would be our closest game of the day and it was never in question.
Game 2: Jacksonville St. V Northern Lights
This team gets to the field and realizes quickly what they are in for. as it was hear on their sidelines "oh great these guys are good" We get out to a fast start against these guys score is quickly 4-0 before they realize what happened, we cruise to half start cycling in our younger players as well as the dreaded Weapon X! Beckified is dreaming of getting Beckified later that night but keeps the sidelines going with one of DAG's cheers. this is one of the few games where we never gave up our breaks or let the team mount any sort of a comeback. this game ends13-4 or 13-5, all in all a good spirited game that was fun for both teams.
Game 3: this was by far the least fun game of the day, and almost the week, this team was the Flying Jesuits.
They looked decent warming up and being that we had never seen them before we thought this would be a very tough game this was a fair assessment of the first half of the first half. we had to work fairly hard for our points however after once again jumping out to a 4-0 lead and the sidelines getting hyphy and keeping the starters going they were forced to call a time out and make a decision. well there decision was to call the game a loss and they decided to play stupidly with the young guys getting play time before the first half the pressure was on us to perform and make sure that there no drop off from the starters. There was a small drop off to begin with as the young guys myself included were not quite prepared to take the field, I especially was not ready for their lack of spirit, I called a nit picky travel call as I was frustrated with what in my mind was their disrespect for the game! We ended up breaking them to take half. The starters rested for the rest of the game and with myself and the other major part of the sidelines playing our sidelines became quiet and complacent, it was frustrating to not hear my teammates cheer for me as I had done so many times before for them. needles to say we wrapped up this game with them throwing upwind hammers and not giving a shit.
On a Side note that I should have mentioned earlier, the Northern Lights unveiled their secret weapon at Music City, this Secret Weapon is WEAPON X. even though he has now been unleashed on the ultimate community good luck stopping him. anyways these Fucks got mad that their disk got tacoed now it may have been from blade pull of trosverges or their numerous hammers that just turned into blades, however, one idiot wanted to blame it on Weapon X's spike, now i was not about to let this idiot front on my teammate so I just told the dude chill the fuck out it's a disk but he was not about to hear it, luckily before things got out of hand MC love and Captain McKean graciously gave up a disk to these assholes who did not deserve it. This however, was a theme of the week no matter what happened no matter if it was right or wrong everyone on the team would have the others back, and it was fucking great to see
Goal of the day accomplished. WIN THE POOL. we finished off the day with a complete and utter domination of our opponents and we got ready to think about power pools. Jake was not pleased with how our sidelines ended up and told off the rest of the guys.
Tuesday Night: after getting some food in our system the team and especially Becky was preparing for another night of drunken fun and celebration as we had gone 3-0 and the Johnnies were gone. I myself had a few 40's and Becky went through the majority of handle of Captain, needless to say he was very hungover on Wednesday, but little did our opponents know that this was all part of his plan. The Lights went to bed much earlier than the ladies as we once again had games starting at 10, and we had another pool to win, our ladies did not start until 1:30. As we all went to bed none of us could help but think that we were going to absolutely dominate whoever we were going to see in the morning!!

Spring break part 3
after having succcefully thawrted the advances of the Johnny army the D-town army wanted to celebrate. they did so in tremendous fashion! some of us decidedto do a little bit of a case race which was porbablly not a very good idea however, it was still bomb! keep in mind readers the following is a blurry recolection and what was told to me in the following days as apparently you tend not to remember a lot of things after being in a car with a bunch of pot heads andspending an entire day in the sun, oh and drinking about 18 beers too. anyways, we arrived at the liquor store for some beers brah. after this little pit stop it was on to watching some ultimate, but more importantly some sexy laydssss!!
upon arriving at the fields the d-town army realized that there was the small matter of breaching security. realizing that it was pretty lax and the 5-0 wasn't about to throw the frod'd in jail we proceeded to celebrate our victory over the Johnnies Rugby Team. well doing what frisbee teams do we start drinking our beers brah, and heckling unrelentlesly. teams would score we would chant for them to spike it, they would then we would boo, to some of you this may sound kind of lame, however with about 7 or 8 beers in you it is the best idea of your life, surrounded by your team sitting in the sun in GA not much could have gotten better than that dayI am sure teams though we were ridiculous stupid drunk, i was attempting to live up to my promise of being retarted drunk, well as I just said I only got STUPID Drunk, Retarted Drunk was still to come...anyways upon watching our sexy ladyssss, we apparently got some food from a church, and it was free, and bomb, and I was incredibly incredbly drunk!!!! Ginger Jay drove Starkypoo's car back to the camp site, and somehow managed t stall it where we proceeded to finish off the cases i guess, the details are hazy, I remember that I talked with one of the sexy laydssss, she made the sad mistake of introducing herself to the frod'd and I proceeded to, in my drunken state, talk her ear off...all in all it was a good day because we all got drunk so early we were able to go to bed earlier which was a very important detail as the Lights had three teams to dominate in the morning!!
