Arthiritis

Not many people know about the medical condition that I have. It is a pretty big pain in the ass sometimes litterally. I have a fairly rare type of arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis. It is an Arthritis similar to others but is still very different and painful. it cause some of my joints to fuse together cutting down on my flexibility it also cuase a lof of inflimation, and has been known to cause bone spurs. prior to being diagonosed I was in some of the most excrusiating pain of my entire life. there were moments when my hip hurt so much the logical solution was cutting it off( I am not joking) . It is a genetic disease that I had a 5% chance of getting, looks like im a pretty lucky guy. If i didn't tke the medication I am on I could end up paralyzed and in very extreme cases dead because my sternum would fuse I would sufficate (FUN!!) so just thought I would give a little insight into that.

Part of my treatment includes being infused with a molecule that helps my immune system to get back in order because part of the condition is that I have an overactive immune systm so it starts to attack my body hence the inflmation. while I have come to terms with the treatment that I have to be on it is still a pain in the ass loigisticlly with having to go to a hospital every 6 weeks to just sit on my ass for 2 hours hopefully I will be able to get all my hw done seeing as how I have a 3 5 page papers due next week, so I should probably sign off for now and get back to work
